What I'm doing: Writing summaries of previous studies in the East African Rift System (EARS) and drinking my second cup of coffee. (I can't believe I'm only on my 2nd cup at this time of day. I must increase my rate of consumption!) Forcibly recruited Lani (one of my cats) to keep me company, but she doesn't really seem to mind the job of lying on my bed and being petted.
Just a quick note: I'm very frustrated by the shear volume of literature that has been written on the EARS. I know that it's a cool area and all, but it's ridiculous for there to be this many papers. People are reinterpreting each other's work. Seriously, people. Stop writing about the EARS. Leave it to me. I'll figure it out.
